William David Einhorn has arrived...

He was born at 1:26 AM. He is 20.5 inches and 6lbs, 6.4oz He was born by C-Section about 3 weeks early. He is a beautiful boy. There was some concern about his heart before he was born, but it looks like his heart is structurally just fine. He is in the Neo-Natel Intensive Care Unit (NICU) because his lungs are having trouble absorbing Oxygen and there is a chance that this is causing the pulmonary artery to be unable to function properly. He is in excellent hands and is responding well to treatment, but it will take a couple days to ensure that all is well. We remain cautiously optimistic. Your thoughts and prayers are much appreciated.

As you might imagine, the name of the blog will change. We will send an e-mail with the new link when we do.

As of 6:25 PM CST the latest update from the Neo-natologist is that William continues to make good progress and that he is encouraged by the progress, but certainty is a couple days out.

Here are a few pictures of the fella...
