Yesterday mommy and daddy took Sofie to her first doctors appointment. Dr. Loui is really nice and goes easy on Sofie and particularly easy on mommy and daddy.



Also yesterday Sofie really started to be able to look people in the eye, which was amazing. For the first time she really latched on to eye contact with mommy. Both were really happy.



After the doctors mommy, daddy and Sofie went for their first walk around the neighborhood. Of course the new parents are total nerds, they need to pose with her, even if she is asleep.





Dr. Loui said that Sofie is in the 75th percentile in height and the 50th percentile in weight. (can anyone say pro volleyball star or super model???). ;) The doctor also said her neck is so strong that it is ok to let her spend a few minutes on her belly each day to work the neck muscles. Here she and daddy get in a little bonding while mommy showers.



But this is still the favorite pass time in our house.
