Denmark!

We had a great visit to Denmark this summer.

Kirsten and Eric met us in Newark on our 6 hour layover to hang out with their grandkids.

The four cousins had such a great time together. They all got along so well and really enjoyed doing everything together.

Peter taught Oskar to make meatballs. It was a great dinner!

We got to spend a lot of time with Peter's grandmother.

We had a lovely day with Peter's Aunt and Uncle. Hanging out, eating lunch and dinner and appreciating their expertise about all things Viking.

Lars entertained all four kids all day long.

It was great to spend time with Katrina!

Oldemor with four of her six great grandchildren.

Drinking from a Viking horn.

Sofie getting into the act.

Frederik showing his Danish pride.

We got to celebrate Oskar's 10th birthday while we were there! Katrina and Morten put together a great party with wonderful food. And we got to fully appreciate Morten's new ice cream making hobby with a sampling of about 10 different ice cream flavors for dessert.

Then off to Copenhagen to spend a great few days with Peter's cousins.

Super daddy.

Peter and Morten with their boys.

Peter and Anne Sofie on a great walk through Copenhagen.

Thomas and Sofus.

Sebastian spent the day eating peas in his carriage!

Such a cutie!

William was thrilled that we happened upon an emergency services exhibit on our walk. He sat in a firetruck and an ambulance.

A tired William.

And a brutal welcome to Austin. This is the hottest summer in 80 years. But, it's good to be home, anyway!
