After everyone being sick, we celebrated Peter's birthday a little late, but had a great dinner and yummy cake!

Sofie ran in a little 1 mile race around the Capitol in April. She did a fabulous job. She said to me, "Mommy, I was really fast. I was faster than some kids and some kids were faster than me." True enough.
We took a fabulous trip out to Red Rock, Texas, where my friend, Karen and her husband, Webb, have a ranch. They were so great with the kids - getting them to do so many things I never thought they would do. We all had a great afternoon. Sofie patting Gracie, a big, mama cow.

Amazingly, Webb got Sofie up on a horse, almost before she knew what was happening.
"Look, no hands!" Sofie was SO proud.
