SXSW

It was South by Southwest week in Austin last week - lots of great live music, movies and other events. We went out a couple of times to see some music and had a great time. On Thursday evening, Whole Foods hosted a lu'au with decent pupus, good Kona Brewing Company beer and great music - John Cruz playing with his dad, Ernie, was the highlight. Sofie had a great time dancing. William continued on his quest to suck his thumb.









On Friday night, we took Sofie out to see The Alejandro Escovedo Orchestra playing a free concert on South Congress. Sofie LOVED being up past her bedtime and was amazed at how many people were out and about so late at night (sadly, Peter and I were also amazed).




At the Ladybird Johnson Wildflower Center where the blue bonnets are blooming!
